About the Event
I'm really excited to be able offer another retreat weekend from the 9th-11th September 2022 at Patterdale Hall in The Lake District. This is the fourth yoga weekend I have held at this venue - the buildings and grounds are beautiful and surrounded by breathtaking views of the stunning mountains. You will have free time to explore at your own leisure the fantastic walks literally on the doorstep of Patterdale Hall or you may choose to do very little and simply enjoy some time to rest and restore. The staff at Patterdale can't do enough to make the stay a pleasurable one and the food is fabulous - it is aimed at hungry walkers so always very satisfying!
The weekend will be an opportunity for you to explore your own movement - your posture practice, to discover how to move with more steadiness and ease within a safe and welcoming space. I believe it is so important to meet you where you are and I always welcome discussion and the sharing of experiences and ideas.
The weekend Yoga practice timetable is as follows-
Friday- 60 min calm and steady evening practice to welcome and settle everyone in.
Saturday- 90 min-2 hr morning class during which you will have the opportunity to focus on certain asana/developing practice, discussion is always welcome in this type of workshop session. This practice will be based on a flow style of class though you can move at your own pace - there will be something for everyone regardless of your experience or ability.
75-90 min gentle evening posture practice followed by Yoga Nidra.
Sunday- 75-90 min our last practice together! We will spend the time consolidating what we've learnt from the practice over the weekend, at a nice steady pace preparing you for your journey home.
The cost for the weekend is just £240 per person this includes all of your meals and drinks (tea/coffee) - a meal on the Friday evening, breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal on Saturday, breakfast and a packed lunch on the Sunday, all of the yoga sessions and shared accommodation. A £75 deposit is required to book on to the retreat weekend. Please email me through studio2@themillstudios.co to request a booking form.

The accomadation is all shared, each room usually sleeps 4 or 5 in a single sex room (numbers depend on room size) all rooms are en suite each with stunning views.
